Toki Pona is a "cute" language made only to discuss pleasant things. And to get around needing long vocabulary lists, it was created to use a small number of distinct, flexible vocabulary terms that can combine naturally; one word might serve as several different parts of speech with related, but distinct meanings.

Kind of like Furbish: The Next Generation. It's actually a fairly complete resource I'm using for the language I'm writing now...
