Eons ago in my ad agency days I actually fell for the Taco Bell buying the Liberty Bell prank. Governments were so newly hot and hard on privatization back then it really seemed real. It was a good looking full page ad, too.

Any good April Fool’s pranks out there today? Usually I put a rubber band on the sink sprayer so when one turns on the water they get sprayed. Alas, sprayer is on the fritz so I have to come up with something else.

Years ago the Miss Fidget calendar stopped acknowledging religious holidays in the interest of fairness. Sure Easter is practically a secular rite of spring but to include it but not passover seemed weak. Mother’s and Father’s Days are also omitted while Tax Day, April 15th has always been included. I can’t control the world but I can control my own content.
