I need to start doing my homework again.

I've been really delighting in doing the art because it's so healing & human. It also has a lot of potential as a means of communication.

I'm certainly not going to stop making art, but if I'm going to be out here making threads about this, that, & the other thing, I gotta continue my education.

Okay I was gonna wait until I got a little further into this book before writing anything about it, but honestly it is too good, so this will be the first of probably many posts about it.

You know how political theory is boring? Have you, like me, ever thought "I really need to read more about politics but I cannot bear the schlep"?

WELL THEN I HAVE GOOD NEWS. It's just that you haven't read Full Spectrum Resistance by Aric McBay. Which, so far, is goddamn incredible. If you are interested in #Leftist theory or (also like me) you feel like you have no idea how to actually move from theory to #Praxis, read this fucking book.
Also, if you want to get into it slowly, Aric McBay has also written a novel called Kraken Rising which, unsurprisingly, is also fantastic.

Disclaimer: I am barely 70 pages into the book so far, so I expect my opinions will grow and change. But so far I am more engaged then I have ever been reading a book with a subtitle like "Building Movements and Fighting to Win"
