Aww man. By the time #MySpace came around, I already had social network fatigue. #Sixdegrees, #Uboot, #FriendsReunited, High 5 (?) and my old sixth form friend pressuring me to sign up to #Friendster so I could connect with her uni mates (????)... after that I was done with social network sites and didn't care when MySpace came around. I probably would have liked it though, and had the most garish profile page.

Off to meet 2 friends from my childhood in Winchester today, haven't seen them for years. A strange mixture of anxiety & anticipation - I'm not hugely sociable these days. I'm sure it will be fine, even enjoyable! I'm trying to reconnect with people a bit more in the free time I have left after family commitments, work & studying. Wish me luck... please 🤞
