A question for your brilliant hive mind - does anyone know of a good simultaneous-translation app they would recommend?
I am looking to take a class (in French), but my French isn't nearly good enough for that, and I don't know that I can expect much help from the professors / other classmates. (Not a dig!! It is *my* responsibility to adapt to them, not the other way around!)
Something that would record the class and display a transcript-like translation so I could read along during the presentation would be great.
It doesn't need to have absolute pinpoint accuracy (it's not medical or legal related, where nuance might be key), but I would need to have a good grasp of the gist.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you!
(Also, I have an iPhone, if that makes a difference!)
