i introduced myself and showed him my website. i briefly told him what i was about and asked if he'd be interested in me writing for freedom press. he had a look and said yes! i'm so excited to be writing for the oldest anarchist publication in england, an absolute honour. i'm going to give it my all, well, without burning out obv 😆.
and then i was introduced by him to one of the members of the radical bookfair organising committee, who invited me to become a committee member, as i live local, and this is the first bookfair they organised with only a handful of ppl so they can do with more hands on deck.
i am still unwell, but i couldn't miss this massive & rare opportunity to meet other comrades, see who's about and network. also, see here the books I bought, that should get me through the year until the next :anarchism bookfair.

Media companies must stand up for free speech
Right now, major media giants are rolling over for Trump and his billionaire allies – choosing profit over speaking truth to power: - CBS is preparing to settle Trump’s baseless $20 billion lawsuit against them – reportedly to help win his administration’s approval for a corporate merger. - ABC recently handed Trump $16 million in a lawsuit settlement rather than standing firm against his bullying. - And now, The Washington Post is showing a disturbing willingness to protect billionaire elites instead of defending press freedom. I just signed a Common Cause petition urging these media companies to stand up for free speech and hold the powerful accountable, not bow to them. I hope that you will take action, too.
