Time magazine recently ran an article about "the Balance Project" which is "a parent-run nonprofit working to rebuild communities to encourage childhood independence and get kids off screens"
I love tech as much as the next guy, and everyone says kids need less screen time, more outdoors time. But we as the parents sabotage this by not letting them have any independence, by making them afraid of the whole world, and by helicoptering them.

His presence alone justifies the anger of the heroes and creates the tension in the film. Yet I don't think I can make a movie that is a shlocky exploitation film. The subject matter is a bit too strong for something that careless.
