Our local shelter is under a Parvo hold, so she'll probably stay with me until the 8th. She has a collar and is very friendly. She seems very well-taken care of.
I want to make sure to show her to everyone I can!

Then, last night, we receive a message over the family chat that the dog, Mikki, has been found. This hit as I was heading out the store to pick up things for dinner. I call my partner to say have you seen the message, she is "what message?" and then looks at her messages and screams into the phone and the computer which as discord running with her family for weekly game night and then rushes off the phone to call my cousin and my sister, etc. We then finally get visual confirmation when my mom and grandma arrives to pick him up and the reunion makes me cry because of the amount of stress this has put on me and my partner.
