My #staffy is a good sport. He'd, once again, been laying on his back, leaned against me on my couch. This time, for whatever reason, I decided to scoop him up and show him to my wife. In spite of hist posture, he was actually fairly relaxed and still.

@[email protected] Gryff definitely thinks he's a lapdog, moreso, even, than his 52lb #pittie predecessor (she was more-insistant on laying next to me; he wants to be on me). Fortunately, the 65lb dog we adopted was 8lbs overweight (so, now that he's in proper trim, he's "only" 57lbs).

My wife's dog — the void to the right side of the photo — often wants lap-time, too, but is significantly less-insistent about it (which is good, because when you have 100+ of bullies arguing over who gets to actually be on the lap, it can get a bit fraught).
