I think #China and #Russia are both a bit obsessed with #FortDetrick (and understandably so) because that's where Shiro Ishii from #Unit731 in ended up? https://www.chinadaily.com.cn/a/202107/23/WS60fa70c6a310efa1bd663fd0.html
Russia haven't used Fort Detrick in recent stories (as far as i know?) but it was prominent in their #HIV #disinformation campaign #OperationDenver aka #OperationInfektion (the latter is a misnomer, probably from #mistranslation or misinterpretation of #DDR sources)
"A deep investigation of everything that happened at Fort Detrick would be interesting indeed, but difficult for reasons of secrecy," said Stephen Kinzer, senior fellow at the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs at Brown University.
#China were using the #USA overseas "biolabs" story before #Russia were, including that strange terminology.
"Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson #ZhaoLijian has called for a thorough probe into the origins of the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States, and problems existing in #FortDetrick and over 200 U.S. #biolabs overseas."
