One of the highlights of the holiday for me is that this girl is asleep next to me to celebrate. She’s responded well to treatment, despite her (inoperable) mast cell cancer metastasizing. She still takes me for walks twice a day, she’s eating like a champ, she never lets me forget our pills now that she gets hers in treats, and she’s been more attached at the hip than usual (which suits me just fine).

I’ll start. This is Gibson, a #FormosanMountainDog rescue (and my familiar). She likes: people who are allergic to dogs; anyone on a motorcycle; and road trips. (That makes her sound un-catlike, but around she house she is all cat.)
