Ok enough about work.

Now: I want to see your catdogs.

Dogs who are more like cats, cats who are dog-like. I could use a little dopamine, so let’s see those cuties. #CatDog

I’ll start. This is Gibson, a #FormosanMountainDog rescue (and my familiar). She likes: people who are allergic to dogs; anyone on a motorcycle; and road trips. (That makes her sound un-catlike, but around she house she is all cat.)

@saralobkovich Fine, twist my arm :-).

Here are Yuri and Sputnik, a pair of 8 year old Siberian brothers.

Yuri is our home Head of Security, and he takes his job Very Seriously. Guests need to be supervised. Periodic security sweeps are critical. And going On Patrol around the neighborhood (on a leash) needs to happen daily.

Sputnik is less serious, and mostly just wants to be social and snuggle with his people. Although he seems to enjoy hunting small dogs with Yuri (!).

@laird SCOTT those are the coolest cats! What a duo (and thank you for sharing)!

@saralobkovich I should probably mention that we have 3 cats. We've had Yuri and Sputnik longer, but we picked up their half-brother Watson from a relative a few years ago.

He's more of a traditional cat in many ways, but he's frequently *very bad at it*. "White cats can't jump" gets a lot of use. He's prone to sneaking into your lap when you're not looking; we've dubbed him "the colonizer." But he genuinely likes being with people, and he purrs away while coating you in loose white fur.

@laird awwwww this is a safe zone for cat-cats too. I love cats but am too allergic to live with them, so I live vicariously through friends!
