#foothpathfriday In 2018, we walked the first part of the Nakahechi route of the Kumano Kodo in Wakayama, Japan. The path winds over the hills through the forest and gives you occasional glimpses of the surrounding area. There was a light drizzle which made small forest crabs come out everywhere. We were on a 2-week trip with family so did not continue the hike, but it was gorgeous.
