Little one minute video uploaded to @MakerTube showing off #FoamO my DIY 4 Axis #CNC Foam cutting machine cutting a small and thin part I designed in @freecad . I wanted to see how well FoamO does with thin sheets and it's doing it well! There's a first part article in the current issue of @rpimag if anyone is interested.

Just published a little tutorial (lol mainly for myself really!) on setting up custom jobs for my #FoamO 4 axis #CNC hot wire foam cutter machine (currently featured in latest issue of @rpimag ) .. Brilliant to have designed the machine in @freecad and now using #FreeCAD and the FoamCut workbench to create g-code files to run the machine! Awesome #opensource!

Couple of fun things today with the 4 axis #CNC Hot Wire Foam cutter... after lots of lovely suggestions for a name I've gone with @gilesdring offer of "FoamO" which made me chuckle. Also today spent a tiny amount of time further exploring #FreeCAD FoamCut workbench and made some test g-codes and cut them. Awesome to have a #FreeCAD to #FoamO #CAM system!
