This #FluoresenceFriday we are looking at the Drosophila myotendinous junction in Tmod RNAi and control 2nd instar larvae showing F-actin (magenta), Zasp66 (yellow), Tmod (green) and integrin (red) from Carolina Zapater i Morales, et al. @MSKCC.

Summary: Drosophila Tropomodulin knockdown in larval myofibers results in myopathy-related phenotypes, with Tmod acting in actin-related processes at different subcellular locales, all essential for muscle integrity and function.
