My goodness it can be hard to avoid the news cycle & just when you think you’ve managed it pretty well this day the younger brother rings up because you’re the only one he can talk to about these things 😩.
Apart from that I did pretty good today. I loved the balance class this morning & didn’t find it too difficult even thought it has been a little while since I’ve done a class. Visiting my sister went pretty well too, the conversation was relatively light. She isn’t too bad, didn’t have a great day yesterday but is ok today.
Once home again & before it got really hot I went out the back & measured just how high the water had to get to go over the step & come into my garage - 7cm. Ever since I had it happen I’ve been trying to come up with a fix I can manage if maintenance don’t sort things out properly, always likely when it comes to community housing & cheap fixes. Sandbags. If I can find some canvas bags, my son in law who a concreter can fill them with sand for me & I can store them on a shelf in the garage & if necessary put them across that doorway. There may be some seepage, but I think it would work.
