#Perseverance is spotted in one more of #Ingenuity's RTE images (51-5, also seen in 51-6) from #Flight51, at the corner of the frame, but nonetheless visible:

4 more RTE images from #Flight51 were received a few hours ago. #Ingenuity flew a complex path designed to help #Perseverance's team get an overview of Mount Julian and its surroundings.

Map follows.

And here is #Ingenuity's landing from #Flight51. The #MarsHelicopter stayed at that location for only 4 sols, enough to recharge its batteries and get new instructions for its next flight. It took us 63 days to get the message that it did in fact make that flight (#Flight52) right on schedule 😃 .

One more image from #Ingenuity's #Flight51, showing Mount Julian, along with a map showing the location and orientation of the RTE images from that flight. This one was the last RTE image (51-10) before landing.

This image was captured by #Ingenuity early in #Flight51. The map shows the estimated location where this and the previous image were captured, and the field-of-view of the camera marked in angled cyan lines.

Notice the faint crater in the upper center, which also shows up in the map right on the flight path.

@65dBnoise truly fantastic set of photos from #Flight51 !

An instance of robotic life on Mars. #Perseverance (up left corner, animated zoom) and Belva Crater, seen by #Ingenuity during #Flight51. The tracks the rover made a few sols ago can be seen crossing from right to left near 1/3 from the top.

Here is #Ingenuity's #Flight51 stabilized with reference the landing spot. This version makes it easier to see how the heli chooses where is less hazardous to land and then diverts to that spot.
