I did the Finish the Ride event this morning to support SAFE. On the way to Griffith Park there was a horrifying pileup on US 101 at Calabasas. Multiple vehicles and fatalities. It happened just before I got there; the freeway wasn't yet closed. The gore stuck in my head all day. I have no idea what happened but I feel like we could do better as a society if we wanted to.
