Mr McAdamā€™s flights cost almost ā‚¬5,900 while Dublin City Council chief executive Richard Shakespeareā€™s travel cost ā‚¬4,185.

The total bill, amounting to ā‚¬24,000, included travel and accommodation for five council staff and councillors. One member of the group did not travel and a refund of ā‚¬1,775 was subsequently issued.
