Just spent about 5 minutes browsing facebook with my spouse's phone with her permission.

Wow. Wow. I mean, it was really bad when I left many years ago. But oh my dog.

Now I'm intrigued to have somebody as a house guest who has account in
twitter/Prince/x or what ever it is called today.

Ich selbst bin eher unsportlich, mache nur so Alltagsfahrten mit dem Rad. Nachdem ich Anfang letzten Jahres allen möglichen Leuten, die auch hier in der Gegend auf Demos gegen Rechts waren, gefolgt bin, bin ich irgendwie in ner Rad-Bubble gelandet und wurde letztes Jahr schon voll mit dem #TCR angefixt. Jetzt sitz ich abends viel zu lang dotwatchend mit anderen da, informiere nebenher meinen Vater und meinen Mann, was grad so beim #tcrno11 passiert und liebe alles daran - #FediverseRocks 🤗

I love the Fediverse!

I told a contact living in Finland via direct message that I was trying to buy a gift for my brother living in that country and there seemed no easy way to do that from Canada. This great girl found a store selling the product in the town my brother lives in, sent me the address and url of the store, the manager's name and email address and even gave advice on how to word my email to avoid my contact email going into their spam.
I know she is a very busy person with a lot of cares and responsibilities in her personal life, so her time is precious. She nonetheless told me to tell her if I had any trouble, saying she would phone the store for me and talk to them in Finnish! I won't mention her here so she doesn't get inundated with help requests. But she knows who she is.
