Okay all done with #fediPaint: if in doubt, add more skulls. I may have cheated by using water effect for the blood? I don't know what Zorn had to say about gloss.

For my #fedipaint entry I went with Queen Amidala - since she's the kind of person Anders Zorn did portaits of, and her scheme was close-ish to the Zorn palette colors anyways. Just had to adapt it to Zorn's desaturated shades instead of the very vibrant movie-accurate colors.

I did arguably cheat in that I didn't use only four paints - but I did try to only get colors that would be possible by mixing Zorn's original four colors. So hopefully close enough!

Not going to lie, definitely spent some time struggling with the limited palette, but starting to find it a bit nicer now. Glad I went and got a proper ochre, what a fantastic paint that is!

Did the #fedipaint Zorn challenge on a Skaven Grey Seer. Definitely put me out of my comfort zone, but was fun. Will write up more thoughts on my monthly painting blog post.
