People who request takebacks and draws in 3min. chess are wild. We're playing so fast, how am I even supposed to notice you made the request, but also, maybe I'm wrong, but the whole point of 3min chess means you need to be quick enough not to make those kind of mistakes or else they're punished. And the games are so quick... just play it out. See where it goes. It's almost your next game, anyway.

3 minute chess is wild. But it's fun, and it's such a fast way to see patterns because mistakes get punished so quickly and so frequently that you learn not to make those mistakes so much.

I started it on a lark and learned it's actually pretty awesome.

Chess update. Despite having a handful of games going concurrently, I've been losing every game I play against the same handful of people who say that they're "not very good at chess."

In case anyone missed the thread or if I missed replying to someone, I've decided to get into chess a bit. I plan to play with some fedi folks after some enthusiastic replies yesterday. I'm learning strategies, tactics, openings, endgames and all that stuff.
