Fear Inoculum gets a bad rap, unfairly in my opinion.
A solid album from start to finish
UPDATE ⚡
Almost one year has passed since I completed my #Tool #Metaljourney and it is time for an update.
I listened a lot to #FearInoculum over the course of the last year and it didn't stop to grow on me. I even made my peace with the segue songs.
By now it is clear to me that it is a masterpiece tier album and it deserves a 4.5 out of 5 rating.
This also means, it surpasses Ænima in my album ranking:
1. 10,000 Days 5
2. Lateralus 4.5
3. Fear Inoculum 4.5
4. Ænima 4
5. Undertow 4
I am going to see Danny Carey and his band this Monday in #Vienna and I am stoked!
I grew to love #FearInoculum over the last years, and to me #Pneuma is the best Tool song. It is perfect in every way.

I can't believe that Tool's Fear Inoculum is almost 5 years old!
If one album aged like fine wine, it is this one. I liked it from the start, but now I love it. There's so much to discover on there, no wonder it took them that long to finish it. They wanted it to sound perfect, and they achieved exactly that. Perfection.
The only issue I have with it is that I can only listen to it when I know I'm not gonna be interrupted. And those times are unfortunately rare.
