Roma, 29 mag. (Adnkronos) - “Per noi di Globe Italia è un piacere e un onore essere per la seconda volta nella tenuta presidenziale di Castelporziano, in questo appuntamento promosso con Conai. Con il progetto ‘Riciclo di classe' vogliamo mettere insieme i primati italiani. L'Italia eccelle in tantissime specialità dello sport. Lo abbiamo visto nel grande medagliere delle Olimpiadi di Milano-Cortina 2026, ma anche nella pallavolo, nel nuoto e nel tennis. Il nostro paese ha anche dei primati nell'economia circolare, siamo sul podio in Europa con quasi il 90% di rifiuti riciclati. Questo ha un significato importantissimo per noi, perché racchiude la missione di tenere insieme la salute del corpo con la salute dell'ambiente”. Lo ha dichiarato Matteo Favero, presidente di Globe Italia, a margine dell'evento conclusivo del progetto ‘Riciclo di classe' che ha visto la partecipazione di circa 200 giovani alunni nella tenuta presidenziale di Castelporziano in una giornata dedicata all'ambiente.

With the ‘Class Recycling’ project, we want to bring together the Italian records. Italy excels in many sporting specialties. We have seen this in the impressive medal tally of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympics, as well as in volleyball, swimming, and tennis. Our country also has records in the circular economy; we are on the podium in Europe with almost 90% of waste recycled. This has a very important meaning for us, as it encompasses the mission of uniting the health of the body with the health of the environment.” – said Matteo Favero, President of Globe Italia, on the sidelines of the closing event of the ‘Class Recycling’ project, which saw the participation of approximately 200 young students at the Castelporziano residence in a day dedicated to the environment.

Andrea Favero è stato condannato all’ergastolo per l’omicidio della compagna Giada Zanola, originaria di Brescia, e madre del loro bambino. I giudici della Corte d’assise di Padova hanno accolto la richiesta dell’accusa che aveva chiesto la massima pena per omicidio volontario aggravato premeditato e violenza sessuale, ma hanno escluso l’aggravante della premeditazione. Per l’accusa la notte del 29 maggio 2024 la donna, 34 anni, fu gettata dal compagno giù da un cavalcavia di Vigonza sulla sottostante autostrada A4 dove poi fu investita da auto e camion in transito. La Corte ha però escluso che Favero, 40 anni, prima l’avesse stordita e a lungo con psicofarmaci e la benzodiazepine che lui si faceva prescrivere per curare l’insonnia. La difesa di Favero ha già annunciato che ricorrerà in appello.

Andrea Favero was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his partner, Giada Zanola, originally from Brescia and mother of their child. The judges of the Padua Court of Assizes accepted the prosecution's request for the maximum penalty for premeditated aggravated voluntary manslaughter and sexual violence, but excluded the aggravating factor of premeditation. According to the prosecution, on the night of May 29, 2024, the woman, 34 years old, was thrown from a bridge by her partner onto the A4 highway below, where she was subsequently hit by passing cars and trucks. The court, however, ruled out that Favero, 40 years old, had previously incapacitated and long-term drugged her with psychotropic drugs and benzodiazepines that he had prescribed to treat her insomnia. Favero’s defense has already announced that it will appeal.

I already have a #sram power meter crank on my road bike as I like keeping tabs on my power readings, even if at my age it's not really important
