I picket, learn, connect, and demonstrate.
#Solidarity is something precious - you may not be directly affected or benefiting, but you work for the common and collective good.
This is such an amazing concept.
I am happy to be part of the job action, even though I would rather be doing what I love at work.
This will have to wait till we reach a #FairDealAtMUN

It has been cold and windy but we are OK!
Picketing has been good to me - met and connected with so many dedicated faculty members. Students are awesome and they join us all the time!! That I think is the most meaningful part of this experience for me.
And I love the barmps we get from the drivers! We LOVES #MUNFABarmps folks - bring them on!
The support is simply amazing

Working conditions are student learning conditions. Let’s go - we are looking to the leadership of Memorial University to do what makes sense and to the provincial government too. Do we want a second class (or lower level) learning institution in the province?
There were students who apologized and almost teared up because they were crossing the picket line.
You wonderful people....You are the future of this province and the world.

The morale was high among the picketers
I spent around 4 hours under the wet snow. Every minute of it was worth it.
I had met with great colleagues and had a chance to speak to many of my collaborators at the picket line
There were students who offered us coffee, asked what we would need, or brought us treats with "we support you" notes on them... Priceless.
