Memorial University Faculty Association members are on their 1st day of job action

Will be heading to the picket line soon

Just came back from the picket line!

I got wet, my legs feel frozen, but I have more energy than before!

Job action is important. Labour rights are important

I had a great time at the picket line! :)

The morale was high among the picketers

I spent around 4 hours under the wet snow. Every minute of it was worth it.

I had met with great colleagues and had a chance to speak to many of my collaborators at the picket line

There were students who offered us coffee, asked what we would need, or brought us treats with "we support you" notes on them... Priceless.

There were students who apologized and almost teared up because they were crossing the picket line.

You wonderful people....You are the future of this province and the world.

I know that you will do much better than any of us.
