Finally saw the poetic prison-themed trial of joker that Nolan didn’t dream up. I couldn’t see it as I was poetically in prison myself when it came out. Life is a beautiful 30s musical tragedy that ev1 else is always interrupting, but is that seriously the end of the series?? What did it mean? I like that he just can’t win. Some strong casting.

I went to the cinema to see #Joker2 #FolieàDeux yesterday. Not to be contrarian, but I actually thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s a powerful, complex and well-crafted movie that uses very clever storytelling.
The two leads are amazing, especially their vocal performances. There are so many hints and nods in the way they use their voices. I’m glad it’s not a movie that spoon-feeds you answers and resolves every question.
I’d bet it’ll be more appreciated in a few years.
