@MatthewTitus88 @rsmon77 I just finished it---yeah I think Freddie's situation is ambivalent, and he's a figure for a type of person drawn to Hubbard and his cult, with many of the other characters being based on Hubbard's actual family and supporters. #cultshelf #themaster

@MatthewTitus88 @rsmon77 The Master is L. Ron Hubbard, it's a pretty accurate portrayal of the origins of Scientology as far as I recall (minus the Freddie character I think) #cultshelf #themaster
