Five members of the USA's men's hockey team skipped the White House's celebration of their Olympic gold. Brock Nelson, Jackson LaCombe and Jake Oettinger are all from Minnesota, while Kyle Connor is from Michigan and Jake Guentzel is from Nebraska. Casting my mind back to the late 80s and early 90s, the peak of hip hop (I can't be doing with this modern take on it), and could I have foreseen a time when Flavor Flav would be the champion of supporting women in sport? Not sober, I couldn't, no.
