In order to avoid mindless copy-paste choices for #pqc, how could an interested party begin to approach gaining a working understanding of #FIPS203 #FIPS204 #FIPS205 ? My last instruction was at UPenn by @mattblaze in the late 1990s. I know nothing about elliptic curve algorithms, let alone whatever this new hotness is. Is it possible to understand these ideas without maths like topology?
