Bicycling Monterey 💚🌎🌍🌏Our spirits were lifted today to receive a contribution from someone unknown to us. We don’t know how John McCarthy found the Bicycling Monterey site and projects, but we’re very grateful he responded with a generous contribution to help support our Education Projects. This was especially appreciated because of the increasing number of hours (including into wee hours last night) that we’ve been giving to educate court-referred youth, providing them an alternative to paying hefty fines (e.g., in Monterey County, typically $193 for helmet citation, including court costs).
