Thanks to support from @WorldBank, @FAO rehabilitated 2.5km of a 6.5km irrigation canal in Baladeh, Paktya, restoring reliable water access for families and agricultural land. The canal now reaches over 12 700 people and supports irrigation across over 240 ha.

In 2025, @FAO delivered 100 laser land levelers across Afghanistan with support from the @WorldBank.

Now shared by more than 23 000 families, they help to level 12 500 ha of land, improve irrigation & ensure that #EveryDropCounts in a country facing recurring drought.
