Contemporary technological development, globalisation, mobility and European integration, especially for the inhabitants of the old continent, make young people have more and more opportunities for self-development. Many programmes such as Erasmus, Erasmus+ or the European Solidarity Corps offer us the opportunity to travel to many countries. In most cases, we do not even have to pay for it. Despite this, however, many people do not choose to gain such experience. The question needs to be faced: why?
