One of the many interested visualization people talking to me about visual data analysis for archaeology at #EuroVis2026 yesterday..

Wow, thanks. You really did take me up on my invitation to pop by our poster at #EuroVis2026 yesterday. The session lasted three hours and I reckon there were only about two minutes when I wasn’t talking to someone. ... see photo in my next post.

If the combination of archaeology and visual analytics sounds interesting to you and you happen to be at #EuroVis2026 conference in #Nottingham ⏩ come and meet us at our poster!

🌸 "Toward Comparative Visual Analysis of Ancient Roman Millefiori Artifacts"

📆 Today from 4pm in Room G1

Who controls a visualization? @framoriniii presents our paper »Critical Interactivity: Exploration and Narration in Data Visualization« at #EuroVis2026 in Nottingham!

📆 Today 4pm in Room F4: Design Frameworks & Critical Perspectives

We see critical interactivity as the negotiation of authority and agency between authors and viewers. Across four case studies, we show how it links exploration and narration.
