#Google bids adieu to the pioneering device that revolutionized casting videos from our phones to TVs. It would be the perfect time for a Community-driven project like #LineageOS to extend it's usability & safety.

Unfortunately the only #FOSS aftermarket #Firmware for Chromecast, #EurekaROM, became abandoned as well:
