"Til I Hear It from You" is a song by #American rock band #GinBlossoms, released as the lead #single from the #soundtrack to the film #EmpireRecords in July 1995. It topped the Canadian #RPM 100 Hit Tracks chart for six weeks, rose to number eight in Iceland, and reached number 39 in the United Kingdom. In January 1996, it was released as a #doubleASide with "#FollowYouDown" in the United States, peaking at number nine on the #Billboard Hot 100.

After test screenings, about 40mins of footage was cut from “Empire Records”. The story was condensed & re-edited and several characters were completely erased. To this day only about half of that footage has been released as 2003’s “Remix Special Fan Edition DVD”
