« Ella McCay » de James L. Brooks : Juste une minute
Les atours de classicisme que reflète 𝐄𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐜𝐂𝐚𝐲 dès son ouverture permettent au film de travailler la question du rapport au temps de ses personnages. Ella (Emma Mackey) ne demande qu’une minute, et dans cette minute se niche tout un rapport au monde qui contrevient à l’empressement généralisé, ainsi qu’au rythme traditionnel des comédies hollywoodiennes.
