I’m always so struck by how great our #elections bodies are in #Australia. I just got my #ElectionsACT postal ballot. In London. Without any hassle. Even voting and registration in person in the UK is harder than that.

I enjoyed the Assosciation of Electoral Admistrators conference over the last couple of days, lots of helpful, actionable info on #VoterID in particular.

It seems clear the other #ElectionsAct changes coming in 2023/2024 (EU franchise, postal vote changes, overseas 'votes for life') may be even more challenging to deliver than VID.
