I wish we would act rationally and grow less corn for energy and add a little solar on each farm with corn for ethanol near power lines. Common sense (and math) shows this should balance economic risk for farms. It's not farm land for food, it's already focused on energy crops?

In fact, it would require about 31 hectares of corn ethanol to produce the same amount of energy generated by one hectare of land covered in solar panels.
