If \(CH_4\) is #SteamReformed to produce \(H_2\) #fuel and the process emits copious amounts of \(CO\) and \(CO_2\) as byproduct, where is the net gains in #green?🤦‍♂️

Oh, I get it; we must build a #DysonSphere round our solar system, and harvest both the solar energy and the hydrogen from our Sun. Anyway, the Sun is going to die in about 5 billion years and humanity is supposedly the only sentient species in the solar system, so we might as well go at it and be done with it.🤷‍♂️

So much for "green #hydrogen", or more like "so much cost" thereof.

Humans—we cannot have good things, because we are innately #wasteful.

took me weeks but I finally did it again!

getting to the point where I can build a dysonsphere again without any of my previous pre-covid blueprints
this is actually a big deal for me progress wise

the first 2 screenshots took me from 21.7. to 23.7.

11.11. the 3rd: where I finally managed interplanetary travel

25.12. the 4th: FINALLY was able to start a dyson sphere, after 71h of play

The original #DysonSphere paper is a joke!
(Freeman Dyson himself said so in 2003)

Angela Collier goes through the ONE-PAGE #paper, pointing out how it’s obviously saying this is an insanely stupid idea based on the numbers, speculating that Dyson wrote the paper as joke including obviously nazi terms like “Lebensraum” or “Malthusian pressures” there as a hint.

Of course today we have #siliconvalley nazi-adjacents citing this paper all the time 🥴
