The Sri Lanka sketchbook isn't the only one I took. The UNESCO book has all the World Heritage Sites I visit. I added the five World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka that I visited; Dambulla Cave Temple, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Kandy, and Galle Old Town.

#BookBingo update! I've read 20 flash fiction stories so far this year. Most were from Small Wonders Magazine. Their Feb issue was great. Also read stories from
Dream Theory Media and
Cryptic Frog Quarterly, and I found old stories by Isaac Asimov ("The Message" and "Hell-Fire") & Gene Wolfe (Against the Lafayette Escadrille) siting on my bookshelf.

I drew 3 of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of #SriLanka that I visited in my tiny #UNESCO sketchbook. They are:

1. Rangiri Dambulla Cave Temple
2. Ancient City of Polonnaruwa
3. Ancient City of Sigiriya

These sites are so unbelievably ancient, and it was awesome exploring them.

One of the best things about Sri Lanka was seeing so many wild elephants. One charged at our bus near Sigiriya. The best sighting though was seeing a family while on safari at Yala National Park.
