Does anyone know of a #wayland compatible tool that can be used to find the mouse cursor?

I have a vague memory of a project that put some really flashy bling around the cursor (I can't remember if it was always on.. or just when the movement happened).

I am trying to re-create a feature of #durden / #arcan which makes your mouse cursor sparkle green after it has been idle for a bit and moves.
