Does anyone know of a #wayland compatible tool that can be used to find the mouse cursor?

I have a vague memory of a project that put some really flashy bling around the cursor (I can't remember if it was always on.. or just when the movement happened).

I am trying to re-create a feature of #durden / #arcan which makes your mouse cursor sparkle green after it has been idle for a bit and moves.

@letoram I was wondering what benefits #Arcan would be able to provide to a mobile OS as, let’s say, #SailfishOS. Could you you spend a minute or two to enlighten us? Thanks for sharing.

Simple hardware-accelerated paint appl on #Arcan. The brush is a normal Arcan video object, so I can apply all the Arcan shader shenanigans I have been learning over the past few weeks. In this case the brush shader changes it's fill color over time using the timestamp uniform passed to it.

Next I need to figure out how to sample the pen texture between drag events to smooth things out a bit.

Experimenting with keyboard and mouse input on #Arcan. I use the numpad to input a number between 1-5 to select a shader preset, then I click and drag to create the linked video object at that location on the canvas. Already able to start creating interesting compositions with these simple primitives. Next I need to get live shader editing working!
