In 2018, the people of Nashville voted to create a civilian-led Community Oversight Board to oversee the actions of the Metro PD. It passed overwhelmingly.

But of course the Republican Supermajority in the TN Legislature don't want the people to have that power. So now a bill to abolish ALL police Community Oversight Boards -- and Tennessee has them in Nashville, Memphis and Chattanooga -- is before the House.
