Die zweite neue Veröffentlichung der letzten Wochen, die in Drones Sym-Reihe erscheint, hat als Motto auf der Rückseite „A tribute to what should not be heard“. Verglichen mit dem jüngst noch hier besprochenen Album von N und Bund des dritten Auges, das von der Apollo 13-Mission inspiriert war, ist „Receptores“ des baskischen Künstlers Tzesne (der vor zwei Jahren ein Album mit N auf Denovali Records herausgebracht hat) dann auch dem Motto angemessen musikalisch anders ausgerichtet. ...

Prémonition - Meta Meat, nouvel EP

On adore les compositions de tribal-électro-dark-chamanisme de Meta Meat, telles que Somekilos (2kilos &More) et Phil Von (Von Magnet) les définissent, et le tout nouvel EP du duo, paru le 1er février, prolonge avec finesse ces rythmiques complexes que l'on découvrait avec tant de plaisir sur les deux albums précédents, "Metameat" et "Infrasupra". "Reynols did field recordings of (at least) 10.000 chickens and effected them to create a deep-frequency drone with bits of chicken sounds in it for side 1.
As a contrast, side 2 shows the more original face of the recordings, a storm of unbelievably high & shrieking sounds, which are at last also being manipulated to increase the astonishing orchestral noise the chickens produce."
