ALBUM REVIEW - COME CLOSER by TOMORA

this might be my favourite aurora album to date, maybe because this is such a cool departure from her usual music but also she sounded very björk in some of the songs!! but also the back half of this album is incredible. favourite songs are "i drink the light" and, surprisingly for me, "somewhere else", one of the most electronic sounding songs on the album

ALBUM REVIEW - SUPERBLOOM by JESSIE WARE

jessie ware does it again. while i don't think this is as good as her last two albums, and i think that sticking to this sound has gotten a little tired and boring, there isn't a single bad song in this album. she nails the dance pop vibe every single time. very consistent tbh, so even if i wish she had tried to go in a different direction, this is pretty good too! favourite song is "don't you know who i am?", its so good

i love this so much!! a bit all over the place, but the first half of the album is very strong, and i love how theatrical this is!! can't wait for the live album, it'll blow this out of the water. just that four track streak from whatsapp shakespeare to i know you're hurting is amazing, kinda let down by the two songs after that though. favourite songs are where is my husband and winter woman
