ALBUM REVIEW: “Reflections” van From Ashes To New is krachtig maar voorspelbaar.

"Het resultaat is een track die niet alleen op plaat werkt, maar live ongetwijfeld een moshpit in volle glorie zal ontketenen."

Finger Eleven – Paralyzer.

The chorus of this song is absolutely huge! With a funky bass and guitar tone throughout this goes much heavier than the instruments give off. I know no more songs by the band, but I dont know why as this is ace.

Wax Head – GNAT (Record Review)

The British Northwesterners' latest album is a tight sludge of psych-punk that is hard to get rid of completely.

Been sitting with Courtney Barnett’s new one, "Creature of Habit," and damn if it doesn’t nail that push-pull between comfort and change. Warm melodies, crunchy guitars, and lyrics that feel like she’s talking right to you (or maybe to herself).

My take on its two sides: https://sonicpulsereviews.com/two-sides-of-change-courtney-barnetts-creature-of-habit/

Bring Me The Horizon – Shadow Moses.

This was the golden era of the band for me! Still had that hard edge but were beginning to really come into their own songwriting wise. Also the misheard lyric of “This is sandpit turtle” makes me giggle everytime!
