A king of seeds and rich earth,
Protector of trees and moss.
Where nothing dies without rebirth,
And nothing lives without loss.

Ancient defender of the green light,
Always present, never lost,
Remains hidden out of sight.
Beyond the reasoning of price and cost.

Autumn is only a part of the wheel,
The circular movement of the forest’s breathing.
No amount of coal and steel,
Can ever measure to this magnificent being.
