Learning to draw requires a drawing board. I had no desire to buy one, but I did have the materials and skillset required to make my own. I had to glue it up in sections so that I could run them through my planer to the required thickness. Then I glued up the sections into one panel. Made from ash, black walnut, and fir. Works and looks great!

One of my projects is a narrative miniature skirmish game, and since I'm a cartoonist, I sometimes need to explore the world in comic form. Skull from 28mag didn't help that problem, so now I'm sitting on 18 pages of stories.

Maybe it's time to start thinking about printing ashcans...
