Yesterday we paid a visit to the Harold Pinter Theatre, to see Dr Semmelweis. Some fantastic performances - from Mark Rylance, Pauline McLynn and the whole cast - and the inclusion of music and dance really added to the interpretation of the history. A quite harrowing story, interestingly told.

Dr. Semmelweis at the Harold Pinter Theatre tonight, on what would have been the doctor's 205th birthday. Good to see a hugely important episode of medical history get staged in a well-written, imaginatively staged play. Sir Mark Rylance once again proving he is possibly the best actor in the world right now. Highly recommended. #DrSemmelweis #HaroldPinter #MarkRylance
