This project has been sitting on the other end of the couch, looking at me forlornly for two months.
But despite it being right there on my supposed goals list for the finishalong, and despite it being so so close to a finish, I just didn't do it! Somehow something else always seemed more interesting.
Ultimately I've decided the pattern / yarn combo does not spark joy, so frogging it is.
It's ok though, I've picked a replacement pattern already ๐
In honour of the day, then, presenting my two main crochet WIPs.
One of which, the green cabled shrug, you have seen a lot of lately. The other one is a cropped cardigan made from Sirdar Jewelspun and I'm honestly not sure if I love it or hate it so far, but the weather is cold enough to work on it a bit tonight so maybe we'll get closer to finding out ๐ค

It's #WIPWednesday, and I'm not getting a ton of anything done this week because I've hurt my back (impeccable timing, with impending honeymoon).
So here's a pic I took about a month ago then forgot to share, of a WIP cardigan that is currently still looking the same as it did then.
It's a very boxy, cropped type pattern that only seems to have project pics from skinny people, so jury's out on how that's going to work for my non-skinny self.
But I'm nothing if not an optimist, and at least the #Jewelspun yarn is fun!
